ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider the petitioners representation dated 08/12/2025 regarding disburse of the terminal benefits in the light the orders passed by the first respondent herein in GO (D) No. 609 Municipal Administration and Water Supplies (MC3) Department dated 18/10/2025 and appoint a petitioner as sanitary worker on compassionate basis due to the death of her husband Sivakandan on 17/10/2021 who was working as a sanitary worker.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2025 within a specified time.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within a specified time.

5. In view of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
