ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the directing the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the deployment teachers list by considering the full seniority in the deployment category and to permit the petitioner to participate in counselling on 16.02.2022 or any other subsequent dates fixed for the Secondary Grade Teacher under deployment category.
2. The case of the petitioner in brief:
The petitioner is a Secondary Grade Teacher and he is working in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Ezhichur, Kundrathur Union, Kancheepuram District by transfer order dated 13.08.2016. The petitioner applied for transfer through on line on 10.01.2022 under deployed category with spouse category and it was acknowledged. In the Transfer order dated 13.08.2016, Condition No.8, specifically states that his transfer application would be treated in the priority list under the deployed transfer category. However, his name was not found in the 2/5
Deployed Transfer Counselling on 16.02.2022, but is found the in General Transfer Counselling on 25.02.2022. Though the petitioner has sent a representation, stating all his grievances, it is still pending, without consideration. Hence this writ petition.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is eligible to get his name under the priority category, however, based on the guidelines, his representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.
4. Inview of the above submissions and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to pass orders. Accordingly, it is ordered as follows.
i) The second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.02.2021 under priority and seniority category and pass orders in accordance with law, if otherwise he is eligible. 3/5
