ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the consecration (Kumbabishkam) on the event of Mariamman Kovil Temple Festival at Anna
Nagar, Pongiamman Nagar, Kavery Cross, Mettur Taluk, Salem District which is held to be on 05.02.2025 to 15.02.2025 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2025.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the counter party is objecting to conduct consecration (Kumbabishkam) on the event of Mariamman Kovil Temple Festival at Anna Nagar, Pongiamman Nagar, Kavery Cross, Mettur Taluk, Salem District from 05.02.2025 to 15.02.2025. That apart, already the FIR has been registered in respect of a dispute between the petitioner and the counter parties in respect of conducting consecration (Kumbabishkam) on the event of Mariamman Kovil Temple Festival at Anna Nagar, Pongiamman Nagar, Kavery Cross, Mettur Taluk, Salem District. It is pending for investigation in Crime No.42 of 2025 on the file of the respondent.
4. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking
police protection cannot be considered. The respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.42 of 2025 and file a final report, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
