Criminal Original Petition under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members and to the property situated in S.No.339/5 to an extend of 24 cents in pattu village account, Gudiyattam Talukl Vellore District based upon his complaint dated 23.01.2024.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members and to the property situated in S.No.339/5 to an extend of 24 cents in pattu village account, Gudiyattam Talukl Vellore District based upon his complaint dated 23.01.2024.

Heard Mr.A.Gouthaman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents. 3.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned 2/5

Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and it was closed on 23.01.2024 and that a direction was given to the parties to agitate the dispute before the appropriate Civil Court. 4.

In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. It will be left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., before the competent jurisdictional Court.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
