The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 304(2) of BNS, in Crime No.107 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. Page No.1 of 4

2. The case of the prosecution is that, on 07.12.2024, at about 10.40 p.m, the petitioner robbed 5 sovereign gold chain and 1/2 sovereign dollar from the defacto complainant. Hence, the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is a law abiding citizen and ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the accused was found to be allegedly involved in robbing of defacto complainant's 5 sovereign gold chain and 1/2 sovereign dollar. He would further submit that there are eleven previous cases of a similar nature are pending against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the nature of allegations and that the petitioner is having eleven previous cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
