This matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing mode.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking for mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 24.11.2017 and 08.12.2017 and dispose the same on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. According to the petitioner, when he is holding patta to the subject matter land, the officials of the PWD Department conducted survey in the land and therefore, it caused panic among the people residing in that area. Therefore, the petitioner and others made the above representations before the first respondent to enquire into the matter.

4. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner is not present before this Court today to argue the matter, this Court is inclined to dispose the Writ Petition with a direction to the second respondent-Tahsildar to consider the representations of the petitioner and others and conduct due enquiry and thereafter, to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
