PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C.,to issue a direction directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide Police protection to the petitioners.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking direction to the first and second respondents to provide police protection to them. 2.After the marriage of the petitioners, based on the complaint given by the parents of the first petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent police. On recording their statements and since both the petitioners were majors, they were let out from the police station. Now the petitioners apprehend that their lives are under danger. Therefore, they sought for police protection from the second respondent. 3.It is seen that the petitioners got married on 30.01.2019 and also there is a threaten by the parents of the first petitioner, since, they have not agreed the marriage between the petitioners. Therefore, if any police protection is required, the petitioners can very well approach the second respondent and on receipt of any such complaint from the petitioners, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders in respect of police protection.

4.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
