Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to implement the order dated 18.10.1996 passed in O.A.No.3746 of 1992 on the file of the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench, as confirmed in W.P.No.6763 of 1998 on the file of this Court. For Petitioner : No Appearance For Respondents : Mr.K.Magesh Special Government Pleader

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to implement the order dated 18.10.1996 passed in O.A.No.3746 of 1992 on the file of the Tamilnadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench, as confirmed in W.P.No.6763 of 1998 on the file of this Court. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that subsequently, the order in WP.No.6763 of 1998 has been challenged before a Division Bench of this Court by way of Writ Appeal and the same was also dismissed. Subsequently, the respondents were under the impression that a Special Leave Petition was filed and therefore, they have not implemented the order so far.

3.However, there is no record to show as to whether any Special Leave Petition has been filed.

4.Under these circumstances, this Writ Petition is allowed with cost and the respondents are directed to implement the order in O.A.No.3746 of 1992 dated 18.10.1996 as confirmed by this Court in W.P.No.6763 of 1998 dated 21.03.2002 on or before 18.12.2020 and list the matter on 21.12.2020 under the caption "For Reporting Compliance".
