This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for modification of the bail condition (viz., one surety must be a family member) imposed in C.M.P.No.1153 of 2019 in Crime No.3 of 2019 dated 20.05.2019, pending on the file of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate at Sriperumbudur.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the lower Court, while granting bail to the petitioner, imposed the condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties to the like sum each, One of the surety must be a family member. Now, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not in a position to secure the family member as surety. 3.Heard both sides.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition imposed on the petitioner by the Court below in C.M.P.No.1153 of 2019 in Crime No.3 of 2019 dated 20.05.2019, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, one of the surety must be a Government Servant surety to the like sum each. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
