O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to conduct cultural programme to be held on 17.08.2018 at Sri Hosur Amman Temple, Melpaalur Village, Kalasapakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2018.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 04.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 17.08.2018, the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before on 15.08.2018.

5.The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation dated 04.08.2018 to the respondent before 12.08.2018.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
