ORDER
This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the 5th respondent to provide police protection to survey the lands belonging to the petitioner in Survey No. 149/3, 4C, 5, 6,8(I) and 8(J) in Irumbai Revenue Village in Vanur Taluk of Villupuram District by the 3rd respondent 2.
Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The petitioner owns lands comprised in Survey No.149/3, 4C, 5, 6,8(I) and 8(J) in Irumbai Revenue Village in Vanur Taluk of Villupuram District. In order to survey the said lands, the petitioner submitted an application before the Tahsildar, Vanur Taluk. However, the counter parties obstructed from surveying the lands. Therefore, a complaint against them was lodged, which is still pending.

In view of the above, the fifth respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's aforementioned lands, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
