Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records relating to the impugned detention order made in Memo No.192/BDFGISSV/2015 dated 25.02.2015 on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the detenu husband Nagoor @ Nagoor Meeran, son of Yousuf, aged about 26 years residing at Sanniyasi Subedar Street, Alandur, Chennai - 16, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) The petitioner/wife of the detenu - Nagoor @ Nagoor Meeran, S/o.Yousuf, aged about 26 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the second respondent dated 25.02.2015 branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982). 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 25.02.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2673, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department dated 22.04.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
