ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.05.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 23.05.2015 with the first respondent police, which has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tindivanam.

In view of the above, the criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Tindivanam. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
