O R D E R

Present revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.68 of 2017, pending on the file of the learned Additional Subordinate Judge, Chengalpattu within a time frame.

2. Considering the nature of order to be passed in the revision, which will in no way cause any prejudice to the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner has filed the present suit for declaration and consequential permanent injunction and also to declare the settlement deed executed by the 2nd defendant in favour of the 1st defendant dated 09.08.2010, as null and void. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the suit is of the year 2017 and written statement has also been filed by the defendants in the year 2018. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is a senior citizen. As the trial has not commenced, the petitioner has filed the present revision seeking an early disposal of the suit within a time frame.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

revision, the learned Additional Subordinate Judge, Chengalpattu is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.68 of 2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to both the parties, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The revision is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
