Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner representation dated 14.12.2020 and consequently direct the respondents to take strict action against the Authorities who effected the change of name in patta in favour of the 3rd Respondent instead of the legal heirs of our father without conducting any proper enquiry and to cancel the name of the 3rd Respondent in the patta.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner representation dated 14.12.2020 and consequently direct the respondents to take strict action against the Authorities who effected the change of name in patta in favour of the 3rd Respondent instead of the legal heirs of our father without conducting any proper enquiry and to cancel the name of the 3rd Respondent in the patta.

2.Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents 1 and 2 and submitted that an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry is scheduled to take place on 12.03.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the second respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the period, if any lost for the responsibilities associated with the conduct of the General Elections, 2021.
