No. 4146/2013-B made by the fourth respondent to the third respondent in the name of the petitioners over the properties as described in the schedule annexed to the writ petition in respect to the lands in Survey No. 84/15 in No.35 Kanathur Reddikuppam Village, Tiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court. JUDGMENT
(Delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) After arguing the appeal for some length, learned Senior Counsel for the appellants prays for withdrawal of the writ appeal with liberty to approach the Settlement Tahsildar or the Settlement Officer for grant of patta.
2. In view of the above, the writ appeal is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. In case the appellants have approached the competent authority, the competent authority is directed to consider the matter strictly in accordance with law. There will be no order as to costs.
