Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to forward the original Service Register along with Revised Pension Proposal of petitioner's husband Late.V.Rajasekaran, through 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent so as to enable the petitioner to receive the revised pension and revised family pension and consequently direct the 1st respondent. 1/5

ORDER
Ms. G. Vardhini Karthik, learned counsel takes notice for the 1st respondent and Mr.K. Tippusulthan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3.
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The relief sought in this writ petition is a direction to the 3rd respondent herein to forward the original Service Register along with Revised Pension Proposal of petitioner's husband Late.V.Rajasekaran, through the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent so as to enable the petitioner to receive the revised pension and revised family pension and for issuance of consequential directions to the 1st respondent.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's late husband V. Rajasekaran, entered service in the year 1968 and retired on 30.04.2006 as Multi Purpose Health Supervisor (Special Grade). After his retirement, he was receiving pension till his demise on 12.12.2023. Thereafter, the petitioner, being the widow, is in receipt of family pension. He further submitted that a proposal was also forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent on 25.07.2025 with regard to revision of petitioner's pension for the 2/5
period from 22.03.1989 to 30.04.2006. However, the said proposal has not been implemented till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking appropriate direction. Therefore, he prayed for issuance of appropriate directions in this regard.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submitted that the 1st respondent will consider and implement the proposal, if it is otherwise in order, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the proposal dated 25.07.2025 forwarded by the 2nd respondent and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law for implementation, if the petitioner is otherwise entitled, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
