Respondent/2nd Respondent/2nd Respondent Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, 1971 to punish the respondents for having committed wilful contempt of the order of this court made in W.A.No.615 of 2017dated 7.6.2017.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. Counter affidavit has been filed and it has been brought to the notice of this court by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, pointing out para 2 of the counter affidavit that the respondent is already in the process of compliance of the direction issued by this court and in such course of action, they have already considered five petitioners among nine petitioners for selection process and sofar as the other four petitioners are concerned, the post for which they had opted had already been filled and hence, they would be certainly given preference while filling up the vacancies for such posts.

3. In view of the above stand taken, this contempt petition is closed with a direction to the respondent authority to accommodate the remaining persons within a reasonable time as undertaken by them.
