Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land existing in S.F.No.71, Sankaramanallur South, Madathukumalam Taluk, Thiruppur District and fix survey stones on all the sides within a reasonable time by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 07.04.2017.

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land in S.F.No.71, Sankaramanallur South, Madathukulam Taluk, Thiruppur District, and fix survey stones by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2017, the respondents have not measured the property and fixed the boundary stones.

5. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, and measure the property and fix the boundary stones, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2017, measure the property in S.F.No.71 and fix the survey stones in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the interested parties. With this observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
