JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The parties have amicably settled the matter in mediation.

2. The mediation report dated 24.03.2025, annexing the Settlement Agreement also dated 24.03.2025, is received on file.

3. The mediation report, along with the Settlement Agreement, is scanned and re-produced below:

4. Counsel for respondent states that respondent has received Rs.87,50,000/- in full and final settlement. Counsel for appellant states appellant has received Rs.1,50,00,000/- from the Registry, together with accumulated interest.

5. As regards Rs.92,87,547/- referred to in paragraph 6(v) of the Settlement Agreement, counsel for respondent states respondent has no objection if the Registry returns this amount to appellant, together with the accumulated interest if any.

6. Accordingly, appeals are ordered in terms of the Settlement Agreement.

7. Registry to return the amount mentioned in paragraph 6(v) of the Settlement Agreement within five working days of receiving an application from appellant's advocate, together with accumulated interest if any.

8. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, all the interim applications also stand disposed of.
