Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to effect electricity Service connection to the Petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.31/2B situated at Moorthipatti Village, Namakkal District, as per their letter dated 30.10.2010.

ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent to effect electricity service connection to the land comprised in Survey No.31/2B situated at Moorthipatti Village, Namakkal District, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 3.In the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent, it has been stated as follows:

Now the petitioner Thiru.P.Natarajan application is in 27th priority at Nadanthai section office. The pending 26 applications involves pole extension works including erection of 7 nos new Distribution Transformers. After completing the extension works of the pending 26 applications, the agriculture service connection will be effected to the petitioner Thiru.P.Natarajan as per priority within six months period.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of, making it clear that the third respondent will have to comply with it in letter and spirit. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
