ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the detenue 1) Vairamuthu, S/o.Ramesh, aged 23 years, 2) Sankar, S/o.Ammaiyammal, aged 40 years, now in the custody of the 3rd respondent herein before this Court and set them at liberty to secure the ends of justice. 2.

Mr.R.Prathap Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the alleged first detenu Vairamuthu was arrested by the police in Crime No.40 of 2020 and was produced before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirupattur, on 05.02.2020 and was later released on bail on 20.07.2020 and thus, there is no illegal detention of the first detenu. 3.

As regards the second detenu Shankar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police have not taken him into custody at all.

In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
