Seeking police protection for the R.O.Plant, the petitioners made a complaint to the respondent on 04.12.2014. Since there was no action taken on the complaint, the petitioners are before this Court with this Criminal Original Petition.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the suit came to be filed for permanent injunction before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Erode, was dismissed. Subsequently, by a letter dated 05.12.2014, the petitioners requested the respondent police not pressing the issue on hand. 3.Heard Mr.N.Manokaran, learned counsel for the invervenorM.P.Subramani, as well. 4.Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
