ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue a Non Traceable Certificate based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 18.11.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 18.11.2018 before the second respondent police stating that on 17.11.2018 while the petitioner was travelling from Tiruppur to Kumaran Road in a two wheeler carrying the documents namely a sale deed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

registered as Document No.1965 of 1968 dated 25.09.1968 on the file of the Tiruppur Sub Registrar Office, Tiruppur District, the original sale deed was lost. Despite of his best efforts to trace the missing documents, he could not find it. Therefore, the present complaint. The petitioner also filed a complaint through on-line on 20.11.2018. According to the petitioner even after the receipt of both the complainants, the second respondent had not issued the Non Traceable Certificate. Hence, this petition.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner on 18.11.2018 is pending with the second respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the second respondent to issue Non Traceable Certificate based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 18.11.2018, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
