(Order of the Court was made by Mr.V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct elections to Puliyangudi Mela Pallivasal, Sivagiri Taluk, Thirunelveli District by voice vote system as per the order of the 1st respondent in Rc. 10051/B1/2002/TNV dated 12.08.2004.

2. The learned counsel appearing for respondents submitted that as per resolution passed by the Wakf Board, the election was over and thereafter two more elections were conducted by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Wakf Board. Therefore, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if the petitioner has any grievance in future, it is open to the petitioner to approach the respondents for appropriate action. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
