O R D E R This Contempt Petition is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P. No.22705 of 2011 dated 20.06.2012.

2. The petitioner in this contempt petition is the petitioner in the Writ Petition who prayed for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to restore the petitioner's land in its original position and pay the petitioner the compensation for the crops which were allegedly destroyed by the respondents in the contempt petition.

3. It is now stated by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the order of learned Single Judge in writ petition in W.P. No.22705 of 2011 was challenged in a writ appeal in W.A. No.3697 of 2019 and that the appeal was allowed in favour of the respondents. The learned Additional Government Pleader has also produced before this Court the order dated 05.02.2020, passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A. No.3697 of 2019.

4. In view of the subsequent developments, nothing survives in this contempt petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
