O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent Nos. 1 and 3 and the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2.

2. Admittedly, the petitioner has got an alternative remedy invoking Rule 135 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, apart from that being the question of maintainability of this writ petition.

3. Considering the above fact, the present writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to exhaust the alternative remedy, if so advised. The petitioner is given a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, to file such application before the concerned authority. On receipt of the same, the said authority will have to consider the same and decide it on merits.

4. With the above direction the present writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
