ORDER

The present Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to call for the records in the proceedings TR2018/0103/01/079900TR dated 20/07/2018 passed by the 3rd respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, from the year 1972 to till date, the petitioner enjoyed the subject property and cultivated in Survey No.14/7B and the petitioner has paid land tax also, however on 20.07.2018, the same has been illegally transferred to the 4 th respondent by the 3 rd respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that for change of patta the present writ petition is filed. 2/5

4. Per contra, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents would submit that for change of name in patta or for modification of patta, the remedy available to the petitioner is only before Revenue Divisonal Officer, thereby pleaded to dismiss the petition.

5. In view of the above, this Court without interfering with the impugned order, is inclined to direct the petitioner to approach the 2 nd respondent for appropriate remedy.

6. In view of the above said direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 10-09-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes 3/5
