2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3. This Court, by order dated 06.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.3005 of 2025, directed the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam, to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.22 of 2017 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

4. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Arakkonam, vide letter dated 01.07.2025, has requested a further extension of three months to comply with the aforesaid order, stating that the matter had been referred for mediation and settlement talks had taken place. However, subsequently, no settlement was arrived at between the parties. The case is now posted for cross-examination of P.W.1.

5. Taking into consideration the above request, this Court grants a further extension of time to comply with the order dated 06.02.2025. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Arakkonam, is hereby directed to complete 2/4

the proceedings in C.C.No.22 of 2017 and dispose of the case within an extended period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Both parties are directed to cooperate for the early disposal of the case.
