ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction to the respondents to calculate and intimate the correct rent payable by the petitioner in accordance with periodical Government Orders issued by the Finance Department pursuant to the recommendation of the Pay Commission for the quarters allotted to the petitioner within the compound of ESI Dispensary, Tondiarpet, Chennai.

When the matter was listed on 04.09.2023, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was ordered to be listed on 05.09.2023 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today i.e. 05.09.2023, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
