This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondents to provide electricity connection to the Petitioner's house situated at Sirunesalur Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District based on his representation dated 28.08.2019 in accordance with law.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the Petitioner is no more and hence, liberty may be given to the legal heirs of the deceased Petitioner to approach the respondent authorities to work out their remedy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands closed. However, it is made clear that the legal heirs of the deceased Petitioner are not precluded from re-opening the proceedings in the manner known to law, upon satisfying the conditions prescribed for the same. No costs.
