ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent Police to register FIR in the case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.04.2016 and to investigate and to file a final report before the competent court of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first Respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.124 of 2016 before the first respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
