This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 16.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for conducting the survey and for demarcation of the boundaries with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.A.Suresh Sakthi Murugan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents.

3.The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property through a registered Sale Deed dated 02.06.1983. The patta in Patta No.247 also stands in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted an application for survey of the property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 2/4

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.12.2024 after payment of necessary charges which was acknowledged on 19.12.2024 and the survey shall be conducted, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there is any rival claim, the survey shall be conducted in the presence of the rival claimants. 5.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
