[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter viz. Logeswari, aged 16 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Logeswari, aged 16 years, went missing from 17.01.2020 and her whereabouts are not known; therefore, he lodged a complaint on 18.01.2020 to the 2nd respondent and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her and hence, this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today, Mr.G.Vasantha Kumar, SSI, Kandili Police Station, Tirupathur District, is present before this Court.

4. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue was secured by the police on 02.07.2020 and was produced before the Special Mahila Magistrate, Vellore on 02.07.2020, who in turn handed over the custody of the detenue to her parents. He further submitted that the accused was also arrested by the police and remanded to judicial custody.
