O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to change the patta and issue the patta in favour of the petitioner's name based on the representation dated 21.06.2013.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he had purchased the property under a registered Sale Deed dated 23.07.2008. By virtue of the said Sale Deed, the petitioner sought for issuance of patta by his representation dated 21.06.2013. According to the petitioner, the 3rd respondent has not issued the patta so far.

3.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law. 4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2013 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
