The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to include his name in the panel for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant (Social Science) for the year 2015 and for consequential relief.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence nothing survives for adjudication.
