Respondent/Respondent/ Complainant PRAYER:- Criminal Revision Petition filed under Section 401 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for records and set aside the judgment in C.A.No.302 of 2014 on the file of the learned XVII Additional City Civil Judge, Chennai by judgment dated 11.09.2015 confirming the sentence imposed in C.C.No.16225 of 2006 on the file of learned Metropolitan Magistrate Fast Track No.4, George Town, Chennai dated 11.11.2014.

ORDER

This Criminal Revision is filed by the original petitioner G.K.Ramesh, who was the accused in this case, aggrieved by the Judgment of conviction and sentence imposed on him, for an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2. Pending this revision, he was since passed away and his legal heirs were brought on record. The matter was referred to mediation before the Tamil Nadu Conciliation and Mediation Centre. The petitioners and the respondent had amicably settled the issue and a joint memorandum of understanding dated 04.12.2017 was entered into them and the Mediator has also submitted her report on 04.12.2017, stating that the matter has been settled in terms of the memorandum of understanding. In that view of the matter, nothing further requires to be adjudicated in this revision. This Criminal Revision Case is disposed off, in terms of the memorandum of understanding entered into them before the Mediation Centre and the same shall form part of the order in this revision.

3. In view of the above, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed off accordingly. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
