ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- This petition for bail filed by the petitioners/A3 to A10 in a case of murder due to political rivalry.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) reports that investigation is completed and committal proceedings is pending in PRC.No.1 of 2022. He would further submit that as far as these petitioners are concerned, they are native of Mayiladurai and hire killers who have several cases of similar in nature pending against them and if they released on bail, they will intimidate the witnesses and tamper the trial.

3.Counter filed by the respondent also reveals the antecedence of these petitioners, the occurrence took place at Karaikal and petitioners hail from Mayiladurai. Investigation reveals that the petitioners 1 to 6 were at the scene of Crime and the petitioners 7 and 8 had arranged these hirelings pursuant to the conspiracy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court finds that no investigation is completed and the final report filed and the release of these petitioners will lead to tampering of the witnesses and therefore, this Criminal Petition for bail is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to seek for bail after completion of examining the key witnesses. -sd/- 07/03/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
