O R D E R
The petitioner has studied I.T.I in Government College of I.T.I, Cuddalore during the years 1996-1998. At that time, he has come across an advertisement published in the News paper issued by the Joint Director (Craftsmen Training), Directorate of Employment and Training, Guindy, Chennai, the third respondent herein, calling for eligible candidates to the post
of Junior Training Officer in Government Industrial training Institutes in Tamil Nadu for the year 2014-2015. As the petitioner possessed the required qualification on 12.01.2016, he applied for the post of Junior Training Officer. The petitioner passed in the written test conducted on 21.02.2016. Subsequently, on 03.03.2016, an announcement was made for personal Interview going to be conducted for the selected candidates for the said post. Although, the petitioner's name was shown in the selected candidates list with Roll No.3310174, no call letter was issued for the personal interview. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation on 10.02.2017 to the second and third respondents. Till date, no action is forthcoming. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents sought time to consider the petitioner's representation.
3. In the light of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2017 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
