O R D E R

Seeking a direction to direct the third respondent to consider the application of the petitioner upon merit for admission for the Marine Biology P.G Course, the present Writ Petition came to be filed.

By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Heard M/s. P.Uma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs. A.V.Bharathi, learned Senior Counsel, who has taken notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3. In view of the order passed by this Court, notice is not necessary to the first respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has successfully completed her B.Sc Degree examination and she approached the respondents for getting admission in Marine Biology and obtained prospectus and admission details for getting admission to the course Marine Biology in Pondicherry University for the academic year 20182019. 5.

It is the case of the petitioner that she applied for entrance examination on-line and the entrance examination was also conducted by the respondents. It is his further case that the counselling was conducted on 28.06.2018 and that as per instruction of the respondents, she appeared for second counselling. However, the petitioner was not selected. 6.

It is the further case of the petitioner that she had not appeared on 23.07.2018 for spot admission with original documents and fees. When the petitioner was called for admission and certificate verification on 23.07.2018, she was waiting for remitting fees, but she was told that the admission was over.

In this connection, the petitioner send a representation to the respondents on 24.07.2018 to the third respondent. Since there was no response, she was constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

The learned counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 3 has informed before this Court that the petitioner is being given admission and her request has been conceded. 8.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 3 stating that she has been given admission, no further order is required in this Writ Petition and she has also produced the e-mail copy sent to the petitioner regarding admission.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. The petitioner is directed to approach the third
