O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner's and his family member's life by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 22.01.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had filed the Writ Petition before this Court to remove the encroachments in S.No.335, 366, 368/16 and 369/2 of Balekuli Village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District. Based on the above said Petition, the petitioner apprehends that there is threat to his life. Hence, he seeks police protection.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents police would submit that the Writ Petition filed by this petitioner is already ordered. Based on the order passed by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice in WP.No.399 of 2022 dated 09.02.2022, enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed.

4. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents police.

5. Such view of the matter, this Court cannot issue any blanket direction. However, if any violence is likely to be unleashed against the petitioner, the third respondent police is directed to take necessary action as per law.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
