(Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.) When the matter was listed earlier on 11.10.2022, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Court directed the Registry to post the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 12.10.2022. However, on 12.10.2022, there was a request for adjournment by the counsel for the petitioner. Hence, this Court adjourned the matter to 28.10.2022 (today). 2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed a memo, dated 19.10.2022, stating that the counsel has handed over papers along with change of vakalat and that the petitioner has not filed the change of

vakalat earlier. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner was informed about the listing of the case. He submits that he has informed the petitioner the fact that the case is going to be posted on 28.10.2022. The counsel has requested this Court to record the memo and to direct the Registry to remove the names of the counsel on record for the petitioner.

3.This Court, having regard to the facts stated in the memo, is not inclined to adjourn the matter any further and notice is also not necessary, as the counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo regarding information to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition is liable to he dismissed for nonprosecution. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
