ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to grant the information sought by the petitioner in RTI Application dated 04.12.2023 in lieu of the 3rd respondent proceedings in Na.Ka.7560/A3/2023 dated 21.12.2023.
2. Heard Mr.T.Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the information sought by the petitioner has already been granted. However, the petitioner is repeatedly sending the request for furnishing the very same information.

4. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the information already furnished to the petitioner does not state the details as to the basis on which the committee has fixed the guideline value.
5. In the information application submitted by the petitioner on 04.12.2023, he has stated that he is in need of the report submitted by the Collector to the Government and the Inspector General of Registration in order to take appropriate action. The same has been forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent and the second respondent has forwarded the same to the fourth respondent. The petitioner instead of filing repeated applications seeking information on the very same subject, could have filed an appeal under the Right to Information Act by stating that he is not satisfied with the information given. The respondent authority can also opt to either give or reject the information in accordance with the rules governing the same. Page No.3 of 6

With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed and the fourth respondent is directed to give disposal for the application submitted by the petitioner either by providing information or by passing appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
