Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that, nothing survives for consideration in this matter and that, the Petitioner may be granted liberty to challenge the punishment order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Recording the said submissions of the learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous with liberty to the Petitioner to challenge the punishment order, if not challenged already. However, if there is any delay in challenging the order, liberty is granted to the Respondents to take the defence of laches. No costs. Consequently, connected W.P.M.P.No.40738 of 2005 and W.V.M.P.No.40 of 2006 are closed.
