Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, praying to call for the records of the proceedings in File No.MAS/POL/78/10, dated 05.03.2010 of the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to take action under Section 10(3)(e) and Section 10(6) of the Passports Act 1967.

ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ Petition is to issue a Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the proceedings in File No.MAS/POL/78/10, dated 05.03.2010 of the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to take action under section 10(3)(e) and section 10

(6) of the Passports Act, 1967.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the validity of the passport itself was over and hence nothing survives for adjudication.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected M.P.No.1 of 2010 is closed.
