This writ petition has been filed to call for the records of the second respondent relating to P.P.O.No.C.339704/VOA dated 18.10.2011, quash the same to the limited extent and consequential directions relating to recovery from the petitioner of Special Pension for the period from 05.12.1986 to 31.05.1998 and from 01.05.2002 to 31.10.2011.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not able to contact the petitioner and prayed this Court that the present writ petition may be closed.

3. This being so, the third respondent/District Treasury Officer, Namakkal has written a letter to the Registry of this Court stating that the Page No.2 of 5

petitioner viz. K.Thiyagarajan died on 01.09.2016 and his wife namely, Ponnammal, who was getting his pension was also died on 29.04.2020.

4. In view of the above circumstances, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Hence, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 12.06.2023 (vm) Index :
