Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with the order of dismissal dated 19.05.2012 and the order dated 26.05.2012 both passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and further direct the 1st respondent to reinstate the petitioner with back salary, continuity of service and all other attendant benefits. This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records connected with the order of dismissal dated 19.05.2012 and the order dated 26.05.2012 both passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and further direct the 1st respondent to reinstate the petitioner with back wages, continuity of service and all other attendant benefits.
2. Today, when the matter is called, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready to argue the matter. Even in the last hearing, when the matter was listed on 08.08.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter was listed again on 16.08.2024 under the caption 'for dismissal'. On 16.08.2024, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was further adjourned to 23.08.2024. Once again, on 23.08.2024, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to today. 2/4
3. Even today, when the matter is called, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready to argue the matter. Therefore, keeping the Writ Petition pending without any progress is of no use. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
