C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners have filed the above writ petitions to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to conduct "Gramiya Kalai Nigazhchi" at Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Temple festival situate at Valanur, Valanur Post, Aarur Taluk, Dharmapuri District and Arulmigu Sri Kottaikaliamman Temple festival situate at Palayapalayam, Palayapalayam Post, Puthunadu via, Thirupattur Taluk, Vellore District respectively, in connection with the festival of Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Temple and Arulmigu Sri Kottaikaliamman Temple respectively, on 24.04.2017 and 25.04.2017 respectively, by considering his representation dated 15.04.2017 and 10.04.2017 respectively.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Advocate.

3. It is the case of the petitioners that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 15.04.2017 and 10.04.2017 respectively, for conducting "Gramiya Kalai Nigazhchi", the respondent has not passed orders till today.

4. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

5. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2017 and 10.04.2017 respectively and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 24.04.2017 and 25.04.2017 respectively. This Court makes it clear that the fact of the order being issued today shall not weigh with the authority concerned and the authority shall take a decision solely upon merits.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
