This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.670 of 2020, pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that investigation in this case was completed and final report was also filed. The case was taken up on file in C.C.No.73 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that there is no need to pass any order in this petition for the reason that the final report was filed and also taken cognizance on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur in C.C.No.73 of 2021.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 2/4
