The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that there is no petition or complaint pending on the file of the respondent-police seeking police protection. 4.

This Court perused the records. In the opinion of this Court, a blanket order of police protection as prayed for by the petitioner, cannot be granted under Section 482 Cr.P.C., Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
